Given below is the link to an article, which appeared in the metro plus page of the Delhi edition of The Hindu today, about the memories of 1960's evoked by the paintings of Murali Nagapuzha, my friend.
Now I can’t help wondering whether you would’ve been able to write about the paintings as beautifully as you did had you known ‘about paintings’! Back on track?
That was a lovely piece, Venu! I would love to imagine that the boy and girl later went to college together and later got married and he became a journalist and she, a professor!!!!
So very apt way of putting it. When I saw those pictures I actually felt like walking into a sacred grove and seeing everything for the first time. Have you experienced what it is to go trekking into a very deep forest? You don't know what is there in the thickets and you find all yours senses totally alert. That kind of feeling Murali's pictures gave me.

Ha ha ha!!! This is another girl. The professor I met when in high school!!! This was a primary school affair!
So very vibrant, each painting is!
Seems to jump out at the viewer from its enforced prison in canvas!

The boy's painting is so colourful and eye catching.
