grandpapa

baby girl!
the phone rings one minute past five a.m.

i open the door...
a streak of daybreak in the east;
the birds,
still drowsy in their perch...

clap-clap-clap,
thrice i clap my hands...

Congratulations Dear Venu on graduating to Grandpa. Even now when I see you or interact with you, the frame that runs in my mind is Venu as a foot soldier, trotting the districts, this obivously indicates that I still look at you as young Venu and now your promotion as Grandpa Ah, pretty nice to hear that. These are the changes one should look for

With best wishes and regards

The biological purpose of your life is over! It is now time to rejoice, be what you wanna be! :D

It is also time to remember your ancestors, tell them - listen, I have done my part...

Congratulations!

can we strike the fact that nothing is ever over? that it is all a perpetual flow of now?
in this perpetual flow is also a continuous flux. the now of the moment gone is not the now of this moment and the now of this moment is not the now of the moment to come. bubbles form, float with the now and burst and new bubbles take shape. the flow is one whole. now you will say i am speaking like JK. but it is a fact and the difference here is i may be only speaking like him, without fully internalising the truth of it. can we internalise it?
